The Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) Affiliates Program exists to facilitate a strong sense of community and connection among women and their allies of all genders from other underrepresented groups in the College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT).
Students of all genders in engineering and computing majors at UMBC are invited to register to be an Affiliate by filling out this form. Benefits include opportunities to participate in the following:
1. Peer mentoring and associated events 2. Professional development and networking events 3. Workshops on various topics of interest to computing and engineering students 4. Social and community-building events 5. Volunteer opportunities (e.g., event planning committees, K-12 outreach opportunities, etc.) 6.
