The Stony Point Center Summer Institute in New York is looking for Jewish, Christian and Muslim students, ages 19-29, who are passionate about their religion and caring for the planet. The program trains students in peace work and social activism with a focus on the environment.
Students live together, study and share their faith traditions with one another. They learn about social activism, practicing nonviolence and growing food.
The program is free. Students will have housing, transportation and food paid for by the Stony Point Center.
The program runs from June 1 - July 23, 2015. If you are not taking summer classes at the ELI, this a great opportunity for you to have a very unique summer experience which you will never forget.
