On September 19, 2012, ESCAPE FIRE: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare will play on over 50 college campuses across the U.S. The documentary tackles one of the most pressing issues of our time: what can be done to save our broken medical system? Our goal is to transform how our country views health and healing and to help shift our disease-care system into a true healthcare system.
Join SGA Health & Wellness, The Peer Health Educators, HAPP Council of Majors, Active Minds, Pre Med Society, UMBC REACT to FILM, the UMBC Visual Arts Department, and the Bioethics Student Association to view this powerful documentary about healthcare in America. 7pm in the UC Ballroom on Wed, Sept. 19th. A discussion with campus panelists will follow the film. Light refreshments will be provided.
