The Hill-Lopes Scholars program is designed to support individuals interested in the advancement of women students in the sciences and engineering. Specifically, the Hill-Lopes Scholars program will support students and increase their academic persistence in academic majors where women are still underrepresented including: math, physics, chemistry, and mechanical engineering, and chemical/biochemical engineering. The program will connect high-potential students to a community of designated faculty mentors and a myriad of campus support services in an effort to facilitate their academic success in these rigorous majors.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
