Effective immediately, Contingent I positions will no longer require hiring exception approval. Both new and renewal contracts may be submitted following standard procedures.
The hiring freeze process continues to apply to all state-supported and unrestricted non-state-supported (auxiliary, DRIF, revolving) exempt, non-exempt, and contingent II positions.
