Hey there ISCOM'ers,
Thanks for a great Health IT Week! There was some great turnout and we hope everyone walked away with something useful for their careers.
Do you feel there was something missing? Maybe something you wish heard or that you think could be added to Health IT Week? Let us know during our General Body Meeting this Monday, from 12:00-12:50pm in ITE 459. We'll take that feedback and use it to improve the rest of our Industry Weeks going forward.
We'll cover this and other topics like t-shirts, available community service projects, upcoming workshops via HackUMBC and more!
And last, but certainly not least: this weekend is your last to apply to be an officer with ISCOM this Fall. Thanks to all of our applicants so far- if you've been unable to apply up to this point, but are serious about impacting your peers, you have until the Oct. 3rd, 11:59pm to submit your application. Benefits of being an officer include:
- A seat with us at the Reverse Career Fair, an annual event where the roles are reversed and employers walk up to hire you!
- Working on projects that have to do with your major (across marketing, event programming, sponsorship) and that build your resume
