Tomorrow's lineup features Dr. Jianwu Wang (Distributed Computing), Dr. Shimei Pan (Data Analytics), and Dr. Zhiyuan Chen (Data Exploration)!

Dr. Jianwu Wang is an Assistant Professor within the Information Systems Department at UMBC. He is also an Adjunct Professor at North China University of Technology, China. His research interests include Big Data analytics, scientific workflow, distributed computing, and service oriented computing. He is associate editor or editorial board member of four international journals, co-chair of three related workshops.

Dr. Shimei Pan is a Researcher within the Information Systems Department at UMBC. Her primary research interests are large-scale Social Media analytics, text mining and their application in human behavior modeling. She is also interested in human-centered text mining and intelligent interactive systems. Currently, she is an associate editor of ACM Transactions on Interactive Intelligent Systems (TIIS)

Dr. Zhiyuan Chen is an Associate Professor within the Information Systems Department at UMBC. His interests include adversarial learning, data exploration and navigation, privacy preserving data mining and data management, and semantic-based search and data integration
