Hey all, ISCOM here-
You've probably seen it by now, but the Career Center is providing free registration next weekend to the BEYA STEM Career Fair in D.C.! What does BEYA even stand for? It's an acronym Black Engineer of the Year Awards. Plot twist though: anyone, regardless of their minority status, everyone is welcome to come. The purpose of the conference is to celebrate minorities in STEM and introduce attendees to job & internship opportunities. It is not exclusionary.
The free shuttle bus is now full, but the Fair itself is still free as long as you register through the Career Center here! The Fair is from 10am-4pm February 8th & 9th (two days, two chances) and 50+ employers will be present! Companies that will be present include:
- Lockheed Martin
- General Dynamics (Land Systems division)
- Leidos
- NASA
- Raytheon
- Aerotek
- And more! (See full list- each exhibitor will have recruiters at their booth)
Don't miss out! Stay tuned for more emails!
