Dr. Akhtar Khan, their advisor, organised and co-Chaired the conference which was held at Rivera Maya, Mexico, Jan 3-9, 2020.
Two awards were given at the conference:
- the Khan International Award for lifelong exceptional contributions to the field of Plasticity was given to Huseyin Sehitoglu, the John, Alice and Sarah Nyquist Chair, University of Illinois.
-The International Journal of Plasticity Young Researcher Award for Excellent Contributions to the field of Plasticity over the past five years was given to Marko Knezevick, University of New Hampshire.
