The Pre-Physical Therapy Society has been established for the purpose of informing students about the physical therapy field and various programs available, prepare students for the application process and curriculum of Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs, and provide students with a support system of networking, volunteering, and interning opportunities. Membership is open to any student who is currently on the Pre-Physical Therapy track or considering physical therapy as a future career.
Meetings will go over a wide range of topics such as physical therapy school admissions requirements, physical therapy specialities, and current research in the field. There will also be workshops for GRE preparation, navigating PTCAS, interview day practice, and more! Meetings are biweekly on Wednesday’s during free hour. Location TBD.
