Yule Celebration
Join the PSU as we begin the new year with music and food.
Friday, December 6, 2019 · 7 - 10 PM
The celebration of Yule falls on the winter solstice and marks the beginning of the new Celtic/northern year. Yule is a time to reflect on the time of cold and darkness, but also a time of anticipation of the return of the sun. It is also the origin of many modern Christmas traditions, such as making a yule log, decorating trees, and singing carols. Come join the Pagan Student Union as we celebrate the beginning of a new year together. There will be food, music, take-home gifts, and more!
Being that this is an event for a spiritual organization, we will also have an altar for offerings and a small ritual during the celebration.
Please note: EVERYONE is welcome at our event! You are not required nor expected to be pagan in order to attend.
Donations of food/drink are very welcome, but please refer to the university's guidelines on food for events. No alcohol will be provided or permitted at the event.
