About This Group

REACH is a mentorship program at UMBC for women who are interested in pursuing STEM fields. UMBC mentors work along side high school students to help them gain experience in fields of STEM they might not have been aware of before

The first semester focuses on creating a strong relationship between a student and her mentor, and it allows the introduction and exploration of multiple STEM topics where womenare traditionally unrepresented.

The second semester involves assigning the mentees with a semester long project with they complete and then present at a banquet.
