About This Group

Retriever Music Society (RMS) is a place where musicians of all types and experiences can come together to grow as artists through community, learning, and performance. The organization hosts weekly meeting covering topics such as music production, music business, performance, and music related discussions. RMS gives members access to a variety of resources to grow as an artist such as educational material, extensive music samples, and community forums, and performance events.

Weekly Music Production Classes

Interested in learning how to work in a DAW, come to our weekly class and get all the insight from experienced producers in the community. *Laptop required.

Weekly Meetups

Looking to build connections with fellow music producers on campus? Come to our weekly meetup and get started!

Weekly Jam Sessions

Bring your instruments and jam out with fellow UMBC musicians.

Monthly Concerts

These are a showcase of what the local community has to offer! Come out and support your local scene!
