Tonight's meeting may be a bit shorter than usual since CCDC qualifiers are right around the corner! Taking inspiration from the competition, tonight's meeting will be about the importance of securing your network. We will be demonstrating how leaving security holes in your network can lead to an adverse actor gaining escalated privileges on your systems. This will be done on the GreenBank VPN, so you can follow along and execute the attacks yourselves! Please note - these our our systems that we have given everyone explicit permission to attempt to compromise. DO NOT attempt tonight's demos on machines that you do not own or have explicit permission to connect to. If you do so, there may be serious consequences.
