Interesting in making a difference for children and families in the Baltimore PigTown area? Paul's Place is non-profit organization that provides programs, services, and support that strengthen individuals and families, while fostering hope, personal dignity, and growth.
Contact Jayna Powell at jpowell@paulsplaceoutreach.org to learn how to volunteer at Paul's Place and become a mentor for children in the Baltimore community.
The weekly commitment can apply towards an 096 practicum credit that will go on your transcript. To learn more about the practicum, contact Eloise Grose, elgrose1@umbc.edu.
Don't let transportation be the reason that you don't volunteer! UMBC transportation now has two downtown shuttle lines that will drop you off less than a mile from Paul's Place. You can also take the MTA 35 bus that leaves from UMBC and drops you off near Paul's Place.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
