We are a group of students who modify a stock snowmobile to make it more effective, environmentally friendly, and overall better. The vehicle is modified based on students' areas of interest and all of the research, design, analysis, and testing is done by students. All of our hard work builds up to the annual SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge, an international competition where student teams from different universities compete. Members on the team strive to learn information and methods of application outside of a typical classroom setting while working in an interdisciplinary real world setting. We host workshops where students can learn to machine parts, use analysis software, and advanced analysis equipment. No prior knowledge is required!
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
