As you may know, the Student Government Association (SGA) election starts today. For the next two evenings (ending Friday morning, April 12th), you can early vote from 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. That's
- Wednesday night (4/10) through Thursday morning (4/11) from (7pm-7am)
-Thursday night (4/11) through Friday morning (4/12) from (7pm-7am)
Please take a moment to learn about the candidates and the election rules here and cast your vote here during the hours the online polls are open.
In addition to early online voting, there will be in person voting on the following days:
Monday April 15th 8:30am - 9pm
Tuesday April 16th 8:30am - 9pm
If you plan on in person voting, please bring you UMBC ID Card with you to one of the three polling locations.
Polling will be taking place in the following locations:
The Commons: Gameroom (2nd floor)
Library Atrium
Commons Covered Breezeway
Attached to this post you will find a campus map indicating the in person voting locations using red circles around the locations.
The students you elect to SGA, which is supported by your student fees, will represent all undergraduate students and will have a strong voice in campus life initiatives. It is important for your voice to be reflected in their decisions.
If you have concerns relating to the election process, you can communicate with the Election Board using this form.
In addition to voting, students can also participate as volunteer poll workers during in person voting. If you are interested, please click here.
Thanks for your time and have a great election season! Go out and vote!
Sincerely,
Jessica Kweon
SGA Election Board Chair
