COVID-19 Health & Safety
- UMBC’s Public Health Dashboard was updated with new data on October 7. The dashboard provides timely data about the prevalence of COVID-19 within our main campus, based on UMBC’s on-campus testing and reported results from off-campus testing among UMBC faculty, staff, and students who are approved to be on campus this fall.
Updated CDC Information on COVID-19
- Please review this fact sheet from the CDC regarding how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
- The CDC has updated its webpage on “how COVID-19 is spread.” This site helps to explain respiratory droplets and the spread of the disease. Stay educated and informed to help keep yourself and others safe and healthy. Let’s finish the semester strong, UMBC!
Virtual Haven at College Grand Opening
- The Haven at UMBC’s partner, The Haven at College, is holding a Virtual Haven Grand Opening on Thursday, October 8, 8 – 9 p.m. EST. Celebrate the opening of the Virtual Haven Community Center, which is accessible to all students, families, and friends for free. Hear stories of experience, strength, and hope from actor Hank Azaria and Haven students. RSVP required. Learn more about recovery, sober living, and mental health resources from The Haven at College.
