SWE@APL is an affiliate group of the Baltimore Washington Section of SWE, with the goal of fostering a community of female professionals at our campus in Laurel and supporting women in technology throughout the Baltimore/DC area. APL’s staff includes many women with diverse backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We strive to sponsor a number of professional development, outreach, and diversity initiatives, including providing resources to help pave the way for the next generation of women entering technical fields.
APL College Visit Day Survey
The Society of Women Engineers at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (SWE@APL) will be hosting our annual College VisitDay in November. College Visit Day is an opportunity for STEM students from local colleges and universities to participate in facility tours and demonstrations at APL, while connecting with our female staff.
Prior to finalizing the date and tours for this year’s event, we hope to gauge interest and collect feedback from prospective attendees. We would appreciate it if you would forward the following survey to any members of your group that you believe would be interested in attending our CollegeVisit Day: https://goo.gl/forms/2CKZq1byL09hHgxR2
