TRAINING IS REQUIRED. We will have an on-line training starting in October and there will be an in-person training in Rockville, Maryland on Wednesday, November 6 at 6p at 401 Hungerford Drive. More details will follow.
Homeless Resource Day is a one-day, one-stop opportunity for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to access services, resources and information.
Homeless Resource Day was a nationwide initiative to provide assistance to those experiencing homelessness. Montgomery County and the City of Gaithersburg has sponsored the event since 2011 with the assistance of the County's homeless provider agencies and public and private partners throughout the County.
Being an SWSA Member: Everyone who wants to be considered a member but it is important to note that if you plan on running for a position on the SWSA board the next school year “2020-2021” You must attend at least 2 meetings and 1 volunteer opportunity.
