UMBC's Mosaic Art Wall Project Pt. I
Who Am I as it Relates to Diversity on UMBC's Campus?
“We become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosaic. Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams.”
-Jimmy Carter
The Mosaic Art Wall Project seeks a new way of defining diversity on UMBC’s campus. Yes, we all come from different backgrounds, but how do we form One UMBC from our unique perspectives?
Instructions:
Go to the boards across from the Commons Main Street commuter lounge by the steps. For the question displayed (Who Am I?), please describe how you see yourself within the context of UMBC and its diversity. After each stage of the project has been completed, we will compile a mosaic of what diversity means to UMBC by UMBC.
