Happy International Women's Day!
This holiday was first observed in 1909 and is a celebration of women regardless of ethnicity, nationality, culture, linguistic, political or economic identities. It was started by the Socialist Party of America to honor the garment industry protesters in 1908 that were speaking out against working conditions for women.
