This organization focuses on fighting extreme, cyclical poverty and violence in Honduras by creating international awareness and educational opportunities. The mission is to create a strong generation to overcome the harsh political realities within this country.
At umbc, we focus on two key aspects that keep this international NGO running: fundraising and recruitment. We fundraise to provide money for UMBC students and we recruit members within the UMBC community to travel to Honduras!
On a trip you will gain leadership skills, crucial Spanish-speaking skills and will be able to delve into the world of international development. Join today!
