Several concerned members of our chapter wrote an open letter regarding an upcoming "Zioness" event hosted by UMBC Hillel. We wish to make our friends at UMBC Hillel and the campus community more broadly aware of some of the deeply problematic and particularly Islamophobic tendencies present within the Zioness organization, especially because that organization uses a progressive aesthetic to obscure ideologies of hate that most students would otherwise reject outright.
