The university says you have until June 10 (i.e. after grades come out) to switch to pass/fail grading. The Asian Studies Program will accept pass/fail grades in core courses, electives, and for the 302 level of Asian languages for this term only. (Normally, you have to pass with a "C" or better in your major and minor courses.)
The lower levels of language will defer to the MLLI Department, which teaches the courses, on what you need to pass and be able to move on to the next level. We expect an official determination on this late next week.
