On Thursday, 11/8/2018 a colleague of ours from Towson University was gracious enough to visit UMBC to provide FormAssembly (FA) training. FA is a tool that allows us to create forms to collect information from the web from those looking for information such as regarding a graduate program. Sometimes we are able to embed these inquiry forms into existing web sites. Here are some example FA form locations:
One of the benefits of this tool is that it gives us the capability to immediately have the information that is entered online automatically populate our CRM. This information is then readily available to users of the CRM. This affords us the opportunity to respond nimbly to inquirers hence the supporting "Early and Effective Inquiry Interaction"!
I heard positive feedback regarding the training. I dropped-in on the session late as I had another commitment scheduled at the same time. I noticed at one point in time the room was quiet after the presenter taught topic. I interpreted that as the group must be letting this info "soak in"! In the training there was attendance from personnel from the Graduate School, Information Systems Online and DPS.
