We're one of UMBC's oldest club sports programs. UMBC Fencing seeks to provide knowledge and training of the Olympic sport of fencing, in all three disciplines. No previous training or knowledge...
UMBC Fencing is a club sport oriented around the sport of fencing. We teach all three weapons ( Epee, Foil, Saber). No former fencing experience is required to join the club. We also field a competitive team which competes in the BWCFC conference. Official practices are 8:30pm- 9:50pm in the RAC fitness studio every Tuesday and Thursday. We also have unofficial practices at a local fencing club ( Salle Pallasz) in Catonsville. This club is free for UMBC students to practice at during the semester and is a great deal for anybody who is interested in learning to fence or to continue to develop their talent.
