Due to the increased use of other online video conference platforms, we have decided to change the language in the PageUp system from Skype Interview to Video Interview. By making the wording more generic, this will cause less confusion for our candidates when the hiring department is using an alternate video interview platform. Hiring Departments may continue to use Skype or the video platform of their choice. The language has been changed in the applicant statuses, event type and all related Skype/Video Interview email communications. Remember, when inviting candidates to your interview event, you can also customize and edit the email invitation.
Additionally, for your convenience, we have added the Video Interview event function to the nonexempt recruitment process. Previously, Skype/Video interview events were only available on the exempt recruitment process. Although, it may be rarely used for a nonexempt search on campus, the option is available if needed.
